COMPARE ATTRIBUTION APPROACHES
What creates the connection matters.
Choose tracking around how customers actually discover you. A controlled referral click and an ordinary social recommendation create different evidence—and can call for different measurement approaches.

01 / LINKS
Affiliate links: follow a referral click
A referral link identifies the advocate or campaign when someone clicks it. ReferralCandy's setup guide, for example, describes giving advocates personal referral links and detecting the purchases they refer. This model can fit email invitations and website placements where the link is a natural part of the recommendation.
02 / OPTIONS
Codes and other methods broaden the options
Affiliate tools are not all limited to links. Rewardful documents coupon-code tracking and also advertises direct-page tracking without affiliate links. When evaluating software, ask how its specific method works; the label 'link-free' alone does not explain what will be measured.

03 / MATCHING
ReplyCorp: match social engagement to an account
ReplyCorp tracks supported engagement on posts published by your brand or others tagging it. Your brand collects the converting customer's social account and reports a conversion. Matching those records creates the attribution connection. The post does not need a special link or code, but account collection and event integration are required.
04 / COVERAGE
Compare coverage, not just the headline
If your advocates primarily share trackable links in newsletters or on websites, investigate a link-based program that suits those channels. If ordinary X and Instagram posts are central to your acquisition, and you can collect customer social accounts, ReplyCorp addresses that specific journey. A brand using both may need both forms of measurement.
- Which channels and engagement types can actually be tracked?
- What must the customer do for attribution to work?
- Can the model credit several posts in one journey?
- How are attribution windows set?
- What happens when matching data is unavailable?
05 / RULES
Window and credit rules change the result
ReplyCorp lets brands configure attribution windows, including by conversion type. Stored attribution data does not expire. When several eligible posts were engaged with, the conversion is split equally across them. Ask other providers about their own rules rather than comparing dashboard totals as if all attribution models were identical.
06 / DECIDE
Choose the next step around your use case
For analytics, explore Conversion Intelligence. For customer motivation, add Referrals and set the conversions and rewards yourself. ReplyCorp's differentiator is this engagement-to-account connection for supported social posts, not a claim that every other platform requires a link or that all customer journeys can be observed.
